Course Content

The Professional Diploma in Cyber Security consists of 3 modules. Starting by teaching you the foundations, then giving you a higher understanding of the industry.

Module One

Foundation of Cyber Security and Information Management

Computer forensic and digital investigation

Entry Requirements

To study this Professional Diploma in Cyber Security, you do need to have a background in IT. Additionally, you do require to have an existing qualification from an academic provider that acts as evidence for a foundation understanding in Cyber Security. Alternatively, if you do not have an academic qualification, you can take this course if you have previous experience working in the industry.

Course Delivery

The Studying Process

Upon enrolment to the course you will be granted access to Moodle, the College’s virtual study platform. From here you will then be able to access your timetable, lecture recordings, source material and messages.Furthermore, we hold each of our lectures live online. This maximises your learning experience because it allows you to speak to your lecturer and classmates as you would at university or college. We generally hold our live online lectures in the evening at weekends but you can catch up at any time via Moodle. Our study software allows you and your lecturer to share a screen so that you can work through the course topics together.

The Assignment Process

At the end of each module, you will be required to complete and submit an assignment. Assignments are sent to you via your Moodle account, and this is where you will need to upload any completed assignments as well. If you have any concerns regarding your assignment, your course administrator will be happy to help.

Period of Study

The live online Professional Diploma in Cyber Security course takes between 5- 7 months to complete, but it is possible to finish it faster.  Additionally, we award a Certificate of Completion for each module that you pass.

The full cost of the course is £1,790. We do offer a monthly payment plan, but it does work out cheaper to pay in full. Your payment options are:

Full Payment: £1,790 (saving £303)

Monthly Payment Plan: This option requires an upfront fee of £299 plus £299 x 6 (Month 1 – Month 6 inclusive). Your first payment will be £598. From Month 2 – 6 inclusive, your monthly payment will be £299. Your monthly payment will be taken as a direct debit through the debit or credit card which was used to enrol.
